Spray Drying
Liquid to powder in one step, gentle on heat-sensitive feeds
How it works
The feed is atomized into fine droplets that dry within seconds in a hot gas stream, yielding powder directly. Particle size, residual moisture and bulk density can be tuned through process parameters, which makes spray drying a standard route for formulation development, instant powders and encapsulation.
